Saint Sebastian de Frontenac
Perched 500 meters above sea level along the Summit Drive, San Sebastian, founded in 1855 by farmers of Beauce, is a charming small town. Zoned agricultural, service territory extends over a long plateau, bordered to the southeast by Morne de San Sebastian which one has a breathtaking view to the south end of the village. Quebec and Canadian capital of granite, it is impossible to doubt with its neoclassical style church built in 1889 and the presence of its well-integrated industries decor. Surrounded by scenic drives, San Sebastian, worth a stop to get an eyeful.

At the foot of the majestic Mount, stands the town of St Sebastian, known among others for its granite. For over 150 years, St Sebastian citizens have shaped their village with their main asset: their dynamism.
San Sebastian is named in honor of St. Sebastian auxiliary.
"Originally, the parish of San Sebastian, founded in 1846 by people from St. Anselm, St. Clair, Saint-Lambert (Lévis) and Saint-Charles-de-Bellechasse, was better known under the names Saint-Sebastien-de-Frontenac (name of the post office since 1965), San Sebastian-d'Aylmer (township name) and Saint-Sébastien-de-Beauce (name of the post office between 1892 and 1965) .

Canonically erected in 1885 and civilly in 1886, she gave birth to the township municipality of Aylmer in 1855. The latter will resume the parish name in favor of obtaining the parish municipality status in 1958 and was already wearing the municipality Village founded in 1933. They merged in 1975 to retain the name of the parish. "
San Sebastian is a Quebec municipality in the MRC du Granit in Eastern Township.

This pride is reflected in many jobs but also of successes of people engaged in their communities and who have at heart the radiation St Sebastian; we only think of the OTJ at Recreation Festival, the Development Committee etc. With its many services offered, St Sebastian has everything to please its current residents, and there is no doubt that it also all the assets to attract new ones.


St Sebastian, this is not a village, it is a welcoming place to live and where the realization of dreams is possible.
