LAFRENIÈRE, Bernard 1942-2015 We regret to announce the death of Mr. Bernard Lafrenière, a family physician in Ville St-Laurent, for the past 48 years. He died in Montreal a few days after his 73rd birthday, surrounded by his family for his last journey.
He is survived by his wife beloved Lucie Benoit adored his children Alain (Patricia), Julie (Richard), Sebastian ( Karine), its treasures grandchildren Victoria Anne Sara Margaux, Simon Charles, Ariane, Sandrine Arnaud, Loïc, Delphine, his brother Raymond, her stepsisters Denise (late Jacques Vary), Monique (René Jacques) Thérèse (late Pierre Beauregard), Louise, the mother of his son Alain, Micheline Gohier, and many relatives, friends and colleagues. Bernard was a just man, kind and generous.
Crossing the road was a wonderful privilege, which leaves the memory of sweet moments of joy and love. He loved his family, medicine, travel, fine dining, life ...
The family will Monday, October 12 at 11 am at the St. Sixtus church, 1895 L Street Church, St-Laurent, to receive your condolences. A religious ceremony will follow thereafter at 13 h. A huge thank you to the team s anointed palliative hospital Notre-Dame-de-la-Merci, Quebec. Our gratitude is infinite.
A big thank you to the hematology-oncology team at the Sacred Heart Hospital of Montreal. Bernard, you touched a lot of lives that feel the emptiness that you leave. We will remember you.
